"Real or fake" usually means two different worries at once: is the file I am about to install genuine, and is the app itself going to treat me fairly. Take them separately.
Judging the file
- Know your source. A page you found through a search is not automatically trustworthy, and a file forwarded in a group has no history at all.
- Never take a mod build. "Unlimited chips" and "unlocked" versions are repackaged by strangers; the repackaging is the payload.
- Let Play Protect scan and respect the answer.
- Read the permissions. Network and storage are expected. Contacts, SMS and call log access is not, and there is no good reason for a card game to want them.
- Watch behaviour after install. Ads appearing outside the app, battery draining at rest, or unfamiliar apps arriving are reasons to uninstall immediately.
Judging the operation
You cannot audit a game server from your phone. What you can do is refuse to be rushed. Play the free tables first. Test support with a small question.
